The Gospel
Life. Death. Resurrection.
Ministry. Died for Our Sins. Holy Spirit Given.
The Gospel: God sent His son to earth to live life in ministry for all to know Him, where He then took up the cross to die for the forgiveness of our sins so that through Him and His resurrection, His Holy Spirit, which descended from Heaven, could lead us to eternal life with Him after believing, repenting, surrendering and declaring Him Lord and Savior over our life.
But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.
Luke 2:10-11
Jesus Announces the Good News
After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God. “The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”

I will always be grateful for this picture that my husband took of me hours before a procedure was done to finally end my pregnancy. I was hurt to have to make the decisions that were given to me, but it was a procedure that, nonetheless, had to happen. Anembryonic pregnancy, have you heard of it? It is a term I came to understand when I was supposed...

I have had one of the best sick days this year while caring for my three under-three children. I know that sounds weird, but I promise you that, being down the way I was, undergoing a stomach bug of some sort that eventually led to me being rushed to the hospital, was still one of the best experiences that I had in Mama mode. I mean, it surpassed...

It’s HARD. I have 3 under 3 and live away from family with my husband, who gets deployed a lot! I’ve been without a car since we moved to a new town with no friends… well, I met someone, and they are cool, but mostly I’m by myself… Don’t get me wrong, my husband has offered to move us back home closer to family, but honestly, I knew...

We always talk about the enemy outside our doors and in other people, yet fail to realize that the devil spoke to Jesus face to face. Our enemy can be our sabotaging thoughts toward ourselves, lies, and all. Trauma and non-healing can be used against you in your life right now. It could bring you to emotions where you (not knowing) could be the enemy to someone else...

Choose To Live Life With God! Have you ever tried moving house furniture on your own? I mean the old school, real heavy wooden beds and TV cabinets. Did you motivate yourself thinking you could complete the task alone and move on to the next task on your to-do list by a specific time? How did that go for you? I can only imagine the first attempt after...

God knows the thought process I had that led me to make every decision I made at the time. He knows everything that was judged by others because of my thoughts, and yet he saw the best in me. When everyone else around could and only wanted to see the worst. When everyone wasn’t mindful but quick to assume the worst, not knowing what life I was faced...

My daddy used to say, “You know those lyrics but you don’t know that math…” And because I am now a 28-year-old woman applying his phrase to my Spiritual life and others as well, I could not help but passionately hear his words and explain them in a way that applies to the world around me. Who is God? No, seriously, who is God? I found myself speaking...

So, this morning, I had a moment with God. At first, I was having alone time with Him, reading, when I suddenly felt led to pray about me being a horrible parent and how I feel like I have already failed my babies as a mother. I was so upset that I just asked God to help me do things right. I asked if He would correct my...

There was a point in my life when I grew tired of being a Christian. Because I want to be real and vulnerable, I will share some things that led me down the road of feeling overwhelmed and having unwholesome thoughts. And let me say this now, after everything I had been through, I kept walking and trying with God until… I’ll just let you read it for...

When Josh was in the Academy, he sent me a song, “Shania Twain—You’re Still The One,” which made me break down in tears. I was in tears of gratitude to God because I had a core memory replay in my mind as if I was re-living the first time I heard that song. It was when I was about 6-7 years old, and my mother was driving my...
