Choose God’s Favor
We always talk about the enemy outside our doors and in other people, yet fail to realize that the devil spoke to Jesus face to face. Our enemy can be our sabotaging thoughts toward ourselves, lies, and all. Trauma and non-healing can be used against you in your life right now. It could bring you to emotions where you (not knowing) could be the enemy to someone else through your actions, because of chains that should have been broken years ago, but were not. Yet, they were pushed down further and further with temporary fixes, such as workouts to get that release, or meditation that may not have been an actual spiritual practice, drinking, or using a substance. Then, suddenly, you have triggers later and realize nothing has changed, and the enemy has you because of the healer you refused to seek, God. From marked triggers that resurface to bring you down through lies, manipulation, and trauma, know that God still shows favor over you. It’s time to get what the enemy tried to steal. Reclaim what some of us handed over, and be right with your Father. Receive what He has spoken over you. Receive His healing and saving that has already been given through one act that can never be done again. You want to be saved by someone (friends, family, spouse, therapist) … Jesus Christ himself has already saved you. He is a Saver. He knows what you vent out and the hidden pain that you can’t even confess off your lips; choose Him. Choose someone (a life best friend/partner) like Him who would NEVER leave nor forsake you, when even your loved ones will one day do. Choose freedom in Him. Choose life. Choose to breathe again. Because He has already chosen you, He needs you to wake up from your grave, wipe the dust off your eyes, and see Him. It’s a beautiful revelation and relationship when you cherish your Father, Daddy, and best friend.
*Do not seek the world for healing; seek God. Do not seek the world for validation; seek the Creator who has created you for Jesus to save. Your identity, life and favor will never come from the world, but from the one who has called you His own. Abba.
Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. But as I told you, you have seen me and still you do not believe. All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”
John 6:35-40
Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous;
you surround them with your favor as with a shield.Psalm 5:1
For his anger lasts only a moment,
but his favor lasts a lifetime;
weeping may stay for the night,
but rejoicing comes in the morningPsalms 30:5
Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.
Then you will win favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man.Proverbs 3:3-4
